The  Elshedai Refugee School have about 700 students ages between 6 years old to about 17 years old whose families are refugees from different countries like Indonesia, Cambodia, Vietnam, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and several other.  The teachers are volunteers.

During the visit, the President General Conference of Methodist Women, Dato Ir. Alice Jawan (see Picture 1, 3rd left is Alice) handed over a love gift cheque to the Principal of the Elshedai Refugee School, Dr. Ng (Picture 1, 4th left) for the school needs.

The members were given a tour of the various facilities/ classrooms which comprise either a hall, rooms, or tanker which are converted into classrooms for the students.  We were not allowed to take any pictures of the children.
