Wong Hie Ching
Vice President GCMW
We just bid farewell to a rather ‘ eventful ‘ 2019 and are ready to embrace an even more ‘ challenging ‘ year of 2020. We thank God for the past giving and we ask God to continue blessing us for the works ahead.
2019 was actually historical in that we stated the much awaited Methodist Women Centre ‘ project ‘ in earnest and that by August this year we plan to celebrate with a grand dedication service in the New centre itself.
We need to thank our National President sister Dato Alice Jawan again for her able and visionary leadership and for all conferences and well wishers for the financial and moral supports.
On the GCMW e-berita itself, we are still struggling with the regular sharings and contributions for all fronts concerned. An untimely ‘ break-down ‘ (for few months) had actually brought about an upgraded version of e-magazine and it is my fervent hope that you would all be more active members in both visiting and contributing.
I am aware that we are not very internet savvy and that the new IT era will forever be our unending challenges. Yet, try we must – and if we make this e-berita experiment a long-term project of our own, I am certain that we will witness its fruition sooner and better than we would ever imagine!
May God bless us all.
